Our Silk Seam™ Textured Clip-Ins are high gram, high density. The 16" length includes 200 grams, 20" has 230 grams, and 24" has 260 grams.

Since our Silk Seam™ Textured Clip-Ins are high gram and high density, one pack will usually be enough. For adding volume or color, you may not need to use the entire pack. Use only what’s necessary to match your natural hair density.  

The amount you need for length depends on the transformation you want to achieve. If you order two packs, start by opening and installing just one. That way, if you don't need the second pack, you can return it, provided it remains unopened and follows our return policy. 

Since the 16", 20", and 24" lengths are measured when straight, the appearance of your Silk Seam™ Textured Clip-Ins may vary. The tighter the texture, the shorter and more voluminous it looks. 

• 16" textured will look about 12"   
• 20" textured will look about 16"   
• 24" textured will look about 20" 

Section Your Hair 

1. Part your hair horizontally and section off the top part.

Blend Hair with Extensions

How to Prep Hair and Style your Silk Seam™ Textured Clip-In Hair Extensions:  

Ways to prep hair to achieve a perfectly blended install 

• Fresh Base: Begin with cleansed and conditioned hair extensions and natural hair. 
• Twist-Out or Braid-Out: Apply a curl cream or gel to damp hair. Style both your natural hair and the extensions in twists or braids overnight to create a uniform curl pattern. 
• Wash n Go: Apply a curl cream or gel to damp natural hair and extensions. Gently scrunch or twist the hair together to blend. Allow it to air dry or use a dryer with a diffuser. 
• Diffuser: If your textures do not match perfectly, use a diffuser on a low heat to encourage uniform curls. 
• Hot Tools: For the 3A Spiral Curls or 3C Ringlet Curls, use a curling iron with a similar diameter to curl your natural hair. Blow out type 4 hair so it blends with the Blowout clip-ins.  
• BELLAMI Flawless Blend: Apply to your natural hair and clip-in hair extensions for a twist-out, braid-out, or wash n go for an undetectable and seamless finish. 

You can style your Silk Seam™ Textured Clip-Ins before or after installing them in your hair. Always brush out your clip-ins before styling.    

Curl Definition: Always wet your natural hair and extensions before using curl styling products. After applying, scrunch your hair upwards to enhance curl formation. Twist some of your natural hair with your extensions and let it air dry or use a diffuser. This technique will help them wrap around each other and blend better. 

Hot Tools: Limit the use of hot tools to maintain curl integrity. Only use hot tools on dry hair and always apply a heat protectant! We do not recommend flat ironing textured clip-ins. 

For 3A Spiral Curl + 3C Ringlet Curl: Use a curling wand with a barrel size that matches the diameter of the curls. This will help shape your natural hair to mimic the curl pattern and achieve better blending.  

For Blowout: Spray BELLAMI Total Defense Heat Protectant on natural type 4 hair and blow it out to blend with your extensions. 

Our Silk Seam™ clip-in hair extensions are human hair. Use the same products and treatment you would use on your own hair. 

• Sulfate-Free Shampoo for gentle cleansing that won’t strip moisture. 
• Co-Wash to refresh curls and lightly cleanse while keeping hair hydrated. 
• Moisturizing Conditioner provides essential hydration and softness. 
• Deep Conditioner restores moisture and strengthens strands; use it every 1-2 weeks. 
• Leave-In Conditioner adds lightweight hydration and prepares hair for styling. 
• Moisturizers help keep hair hydrated throughout the day. 
• Curl Creams define curls while adding moisture. 
• Oils seal in moisture and add shine. 
• Refreshers revive curls and reduce frizz between washes. 
• Heat Protectants guard textured hair against heat damage during styling. 
• Wide-Tooth Comb or Detangling Brush to detangle hair without causing breakage. 

Yes! Simply apply water to your clip-ins to reset the curl pattern. Your clip-ins are designed to be resilient to styling and will keep their curl and density when cared for properly. However, keep in mind that using less heat is always preferable, just like with natural hair. Be sure to use a heat protectant before applying any hot tools!

Washing: Wash your clip-ins every 10-15 wears or as needed to remove buildup.  

1. Fill the sink or basin with lukewarm water.  
2. Add a small amount of sulfate-free shampoo that will not strip moisture from the hair.  
3. Submerge the hair in the water and gently swirl around.  
4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.  

Conditioning: Use a moisturizing or curl-specific conditioner. 

1. Apply conditioner from mid-length to ends. 
2. Leave on for 5-10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cool water.  
3. Use a deep conditioner as needed to restore moisture. 
4. Apply a leave-in conditioner mid-length to end to keep hair soft and hydrated. 

Drying: Air dry your clip-ins when you can to preserve the curl pattern and minimize heat exposure.  

1. Gently squeeze out excess water using a microfiber towel or cotton T-shirt. Avoid rubbing the hair to prevent tangling.  
2. Lay flat the hair flat on a towel or use the BELLAMI Hair Extension Hanger for air drying.  
3. If you need to use a blow dryer, attach a diffuser and set it to low heat. 
4. Allow the clip-in hair extensions to fully dry before wearing it again. 

Styling: After washing your curls will bounce back. To refresh your style between washes, just wet your clip-ins.  

1. When using curl styling products on clip-ins before each wear, dampen them slightly. 
2. Limit the use of hot tools to maintain curl integrity.   
3. Only use hot tools on dry hair and always apply a heat protectant beforehand.  
4. We do not recommend flat ironing textured clip-ins.
